Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership & Management

Develop and execute EHS strategies aligned with global corporate goals and local Thai regulations.

Lead the setup of EHS frameworks for the new Bangkok office and upcoming engineering projects.

Manage, mentor, and recruit a local EHS team (scaling from 1 to 10 subordinates).

Report directly to the Global EHS Leader and Head of Brand Centre regarding safety performance, KPIs, and critical incidents.

2. Project & Operational Safety

Oversee EHS implementation across engineering projects in the Computer Hardware and Telecom manufacturing sectors.

Conduct rigorous risk assessments, site inspections, and safety audits to identify hazards in engineering and office environments.

Ensure all projects meet strict compliance with Thai laws and international safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001).

3. Training & Compliance

Design and deliver EHS training programs for employees and contractors to foster a "Safety First" culture.

Manage incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action planning.

Liaise with local government authorities and external bodies regarding environmental and safety licensing.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of solid EHS experience, specifically within engineering projects or manufacturing environments.
  • Experience in the Computer Hardware, Telecom, or Networking Equipment industry is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in a leadership role, capable of managing a team.
  • Fluent in English (Written and Spoken) is mandatory for global reporting.
  • In-depth knowledge of Thailand local EHS regulations and laws.
  • Experience with office setup or greenfield project phases is a strong advantage.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
