Key Responsibilities
1. Production Control & Monitoring
- Plan, organize, and monitor daily PCB production activities.
- Ensure production schedules are met with minimum downtime.
- Control work-in-progress (WIP) to balance capacity across processes such as drilling, plating, imaging, etching, solder mask, and final inspection.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with maintenance to minimize breakdowns.
2. Quality & Process Control
- Ensure adherence to PCB process standards, IPC requirements, and customer specifications, while monitoring quality checkpoints at every stage.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for defects like shorts, opens, and solder mask issues.
- Work closely with QA/QC to maintain first-pass yield and reduce scrap rates.
3. People Management
- Supervise production operators and line leaders.
- Provide training and coaching to ensure process discipline and skill development.
- Monitor attendance, shift planning, and overtime control.
- Motivate and engage the team to achieve production targets.
4. Continuous Improvement
- Drive productivity improvements through Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Kaizen.
- Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives regarding material usage, energy, and rework.
- Support the engineering team on new product introduction (NPI) and process improvement projects.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare daily/weekly production reports, including output, yield, downtime, scrap, and manpower.
- Maintain proper records of process parameters, lot history, and production logs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO/TS standards and company documentation procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in PCB manufacturing or electronics production.
- Strong knowledge of PCB production processes (drilling, imaging, plating, AOI, solder mask, surface finish, and testing).
- Proven leadership and people management skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in English Speaking and Writing (the interview will be conducted in English)
