Mechanical Engineer (Data Center, Chonburi)

Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain Large-scale Chillers, Cooling Towers, Precision Air Conditioning (CRAC/CRAH), and Chilled Water distribution systems.
• Monitor airflow dynamics to eliminate hot spots and optimize cooling efficiency in alignment with PUE targets.
• Supervise vendors and contractors performing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and ensure all works follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and MOPs.
• Oversee the readiness of gas-based fire suppression systems (FM-200/Novec) and Early Warning Smoke Detection systems (VESDA).
• Provide 24/7 technical support for mechanical system failures, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement corrective actions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in HVAC systems, specifically within Data Centers, Semi-conductor plants, or High-tech manufacturing environments.
• Valid Professional Engineer License (Associate Mechanical Engineer).
• Strong understanding of Psychrometrics, Pumping systems, and BMS/Control logic.
• Familiarity with Data Center standards such as ASHRAE TC9.9 and Uptime Institute.
• Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments.
