About the job ESG and Sustainability Manager (Fluent English)
Responsibilities
- To harmonize sustainability initiatives, efficiently coordinate with different corporate departments, roles, and business units. Organize relevant or comparable sustainability projects and activities across several departments.
- Gather and examine data and information about sustainability and ESG issues, both qualitative and quantitative.
- Encourage disclosure actions pertaining to sustainability and ESG, such as: Creating the annual Sustainability Report and the Sustainability portion of the Annual Report.
- Revising information on sustainability and ESG on the company website.
Sending sustainability/ESG evaluations to outside organizations. - Creating prompt and precise answers to questions from lenders, investors, analysts, assessors, and other pertinent parties.
- Encourage the adoption of ESG and sustainability-related procedures, policies, and initiatives.
- Encourage the creation and execution of plans and initiatives pertaining to sustainability and ESG.
- Encourage the development of a sustainable culture across the entire company through workshops, training, information exchange, and other educational initiatives.
- To guarantee compliance and strategic relevance, keep an eye on and track modifications to sustainability/ESG-related trends, rules, regulations, assessment standards, and consumer attitudes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in sustainability, political science, economics, environmental issues, or equivalent discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in corporate sustainability activities, with preference for direct company experience over regulatory/assessor or consulting jobs.
- English proficiency (both written and spoken) is necessary.
- Demonstrates strong people management and interpersonal abilities for efficient internal and external cooperation.
- Demonstrates independent and self-motivated work approach.
