About the job Customer Logistics Manager
We are seeking an experienced Customer Logistics Manager with a strong background in aerospace logistics or airline operations. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end logistics activities, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence for aviation-related parts, materials, and critical components. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage complex logistics flows with high urgency and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Logistics & Operations

Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including order management, shipment planning, inventory coordination, and delivery tracking.

Act as the primary point of contact for aviation/aerospace customers, ensuring service levels meet industry requirements.

Coordinate with airlines, MROs, OEMs, and freight forwarders to ensure timely and compliant movement of materials.

Monitor AOG (Aircraft on Ground) and critical shipments to ensure rapid response and resolution.
Supply Chain & Coordination

Work closely with internal supply chain, warehousing, procurement, and quality teams to maintain efficient material flow.

Optimize logistics processes to support on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, export/import rules, and safety protocols.
Planning & Performance Management

Analyze logistics performance metrics and recommend continuous improvement actions.

Develop contingency plans for operational disruptions, delays, or critical part shortages.

Manage service contracts with logistics partners and assess vendor performance.
Communication & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain strong customer relationships, providing updates and solutions for operational issues.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align logistics strategies with business objectives.

Prepare reports and presentations on logistics performance, cost, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Aviation Management, or a related field.

Minimum 5-8 years of experience in logistics or operations within aerospace, airline, MRO, or aviation supply chain.

Strong understanding of aircraft parts logistics, AOG processes, and aviation compliance requirements.

Experience working with freight forwarders, customs, and international logistics.

Excellent communication, customer-service, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with critical timelines.

Proficiency in ERP/WMS systems and logistics tracking tools.
