Responsibilities:

• Oversee the company's whole sourcing plan.
• Assessing sourcing practices and submitting ideas for change to upper management for approval.
• Evaluating and computing purchasing expenses as well as creating plans for cost cutting.
• Influencing judgments about what to buy by considering market trends, cost, and scenario analysis.
• Negotiating terms of supply, service, and quality, as well as costs, with important suppliers.
• Working together to find and pursue new supplier prospects with the buying division.
• Analysis of supplier quality performance reports
• Carrying out predictions and cost estimations in addition to market research.
• Preserving connections for strategic sourcing and building reliable vendors
• Create innovative, value-driven sourcing strategies in accordance with corporate requirements.
• Handle suppliers with professionalism to ensure ongoing performance and development.
• Plan and track the application of new technology to achieve departmental or unit objectives.
• Observe the timetable specified in the business calendar to ensure team operations.
• Create an annual budget based on your sourcing requirements.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's or master's degree in related fields such as supply chain management, logistics, or business administration
• Prior employment for five to ten years as a sourcing specialist or manager
• Knowledge of the workings of the market and good commercial judgment
• Strong leadership and project management abilities
• Capacity to reach agreements and maintain networking connections
• Exceptional intellectual and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent relationship builder, good communicator, and possessing managerial abilities
• Proactive attitude and productive work
• Strong grasp of both spoken and written English
