Assistant Managing Director
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist the CEO with quick decision-making through situational analysis and geographical targeting exercises.
- Responsible for achieving sales/revenue growth, profitability, and quality targets, including product quality, distribution, and customer service satisfaction.
- Develop, implement, and monitor operational plans within budget to meet KPIs and business results. Ensure alignment with the national team and regional processes, procedures, and policies.
- Develop initiatives to continuously enhance all KPIs.
- Establish rapport with partners and agents in the country to ensure smooth business operations.
- Submit company performance and regulatory compliance reports to corporate headquarters on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Provide essential reports to achieve maximum market share and sustained growth.
- Manage local team expectations during rapid operational changes by briefing them on the needs, priorities, KPIs, and reasons for the CEO's plan to achieve business goals.
- Managed employee selection, training, scheduling, and professional development.
- Enhancing country teams' capabilities to successfully deliver KPI targets.
- Demonstrating strong leadership skills and a willingness to accomplish tasks.
Requirements:
- Age under 40 with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Strong expertise in retail and cold calling, with a preference for trading.
- Has 5 years of experience as a senior leader managing complex enterprises.
- Proven experience in a complex business with sales, service, and systems-selling propositions.
- Demonstrated experience directing direct sales and service organizations with an in-depth understanding of customer processes to effectively communicate product benefits.
- Demonstrates strong commercial, financial, and technical skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Good communication skills and fluency in English.
