Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be crucial in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our production machinery and facility. Your key responsibilities will include
- Performing preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment, including extruders, mixers, pelletizers, material handling systems, and ancillary equipment.
- Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and implementing effective repair solutions.
- Troubleshooting and repairing control systems, including PLCs, sensors, and actuators.
- Conducting routine inspections and maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities.
- Collaborating with the production team to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
- Adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Identifying and recommending improvements to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
- Assisting in the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the plastic, chemical, or similar processing industries.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial machinery.
- Experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Flexibility to work in shifts or respond to emergency calls as needed.
- Relevant technical certification or vocational training is highly preferred.
