We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in the hospitality industry to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the hospitality landscape, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record of exceeding targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities: Research and identify potential clients (e.g., hotels, restaurants, event venues, catering companies) and markets within the hospitality sector. Proactively seek out new leads and explore untapped revenue streams.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships: Cultivate and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within target organizations. Represent the company professionally and build trust with potential clients.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies: Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets. This includes identifying target markets, developing value propositions, and crafting compelling proposals.
  • Conduct market research and analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Use this information to inform sales strategies and identify new opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals: Develop and deliver persuasive presentations and proposals to potential clients, showcasing the company's offerings and value proposition.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements: Negotiate favorable contract terms with clients, ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
  • Manage the sales pipeline: Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline, tracking leads, opportunities, and progress.
  • Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, marketing) to ensure seamless execution of projects and client satisfaction.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets: Consistently meet and exceed established sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Attend industry events and conferences: Represent the company at industry events and conferences to network with potential clients and stay informed about industry trends.
  • Provide regular reporting: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales activities, pipeline progress, and market trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of10 years of experience in business development or sales within the hospitality industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of the hospitality landscape, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
