  • Keep abreast of industry advancements, rivalry, and market trends by conducting ongoing research.
  • Create and preserve a solid rapport with your current clientele.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for questions and issues from clients.
  • To guarantee client happiness, attend to their problems and offer solutions.
  • Look for possibilities to cross-sell or upsell more services proactively.
  • Work together with the operations group to guarantee efficient and punctual cargo transfers.
  • Track shipments and give clients up-to-date information.
  • Address any logistical problems or potential transportation delays.
  • Create and keep up-to-date client records, sales estimates, and reports.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, international trade, or a similar profession. On the other hand, suitable work experience can occasionally take the place of formal schooling.
  • Solid sales and business development background, ideally in the logistics or freight forwarding sector.
  • It is quite beneficial to be familiar with international shipping and logistics procedures.
    Effective sales presentations and client connection building require strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • 10 years of experience with shipping procedures, customs laws, and international freight forwarding.
  • Capacity to bargain with customers and suppliers for favorable prices and service terms.

  • Proficiency in the use of pertinent digital tools for communication, reporting, and tracking sales.
  • Excellent persuading and sales abilities to fulfill revenue goals and promote business expansion.
