IT Director (ERP Implementation)

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive strategy for the successful implementation of ERP systems in a manufacturing setting.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to define the scope, objectives, and expected outcomes of ERP projects.
  • Ensure alignment of ERP strategy with the company's overall business goals.
  • Lead and manage cross-functional teams responsible for ERP implementation projects.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, addressing issues and risks as they arise.
  • Evaluate and select ERP software and vendors that best suit the company's manufacturing needs.
  • Negotiate contracts, license agreements, and service level agreements with ERP vendors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with ERP vendors to ensure support and system enhancements.
  • Analyze and understand existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement and automation through ERP solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to map current and future business processes within the ERP framework.
  • Oversee the integration of ERP systems with existing software and hardware infrastructure.
  • Ensure data accuracy and consistency by developing data migration and integration strategies.
  • Drive organizational change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of ERP systems by all stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to employees to maximize system utilization.
  • Continuously monitor the performance of ERP systems and identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement system upgrades and enhancements to support changing business needs.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with relevant industry and regulatory standards.
  • Implement and enforce data access controls and security protocols.
  • Develop and manage the technology department's budget, including project-specific budgets, to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Build and lead a high-performing technology team focused on ERP implementation and support.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Thai nationality only
  • Bachelor's or MS degree in Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing ERP implementation projects in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems and their integration into manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent project management skills, including budgeting and timeline management.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of data security, compliance, and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Good command of spoken and written English
