Demand Planning Supervisor - Manufacturing Operations

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Supervisor to join our manufacturing team in Saraburi. This role will oversee demand forecasting, production planning, and inventory optimization across multiple production lines, ensuring alignment between customer demands, production capabilities, and business objectives.

Job Details

Location: Saraburi province

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary Range: 55,000-65,000 THB plus 5,500 THB location allowance

Team Structure: Managing 1 direct reports, overseeing operations for 6 production lines

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts aligned with sales projections and business goals

Coordinate cross-functional S&OP processes between sales, marketing, and production departments

Analyze production capacity constraints and develop effective solutions to balance demand with capabilities

Implement and refine best practices in demand planning methodologies

Establish optimal inventory levels to prevent stockouts while minimizing excess inventory costs

Track and report key performance metrics including forecast accuracy, demand variability, and inventory turnover

Lead continuous improvement initiatives for forecasting accuracy and planning efficiency

Manage a team of planning specialists responsible for different product categories

Handle multiple product types, sizes, and urgent production requirements with effective prioritization

Required Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain management

Strong analytical capabilities with proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau)

Excellent communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field

Good English proficiency (written and verbal)

Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and meet critical deadlines

Experience leading a team in planning or forecasting roles

Age 34+ preferred

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in food or beverage packaging manufacturing

Knowledge of sustainable supply chain practices and ESG principles

Experience with ERP systems and advanced planning tools
