Position Overview

We are seeking a Regional Marketing Director with strong international experience to lead our marketing efforts across multiple markets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the pet food industry, particularly in canned dog and cat food products for export markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive regional marketing strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Lead market research initiatives to identify growth opportunities across different regions
  • Oversee product positioning, branding, and promotional activities for pet food products
  • Manage regional marketing budgets and evaluate ROI on marketing campaigns
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including distributors and retail partners
  • Direct the creation of marketing materials suitable for international markets
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product development, and operations teams
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage

Qualifications

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in marketing roles within the pet food industry, specifically with canned dog and cat food products
  • Proven success in export markets and international business development
  • Business level communication in English 
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; MBA preferred
  • Strong understanding of international market dynamics and cultural sensitivities
  • Experience developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Data-driven approach to marketing strategy and decision making

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 30% of time)
