Regional Sales Director
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy
- Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of achievement and exceeding sales targets.
- Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the food and beverage industry across the region.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at major beverage companies in ASEAN.
- Negotiate and close high-value contracts with new and existing clients manufacturers and distributors.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and competitors' activity
- Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to optimize revenue growth.
- Manage and oversee sales forecasting and budgeting processes
- Manage and mentor sales team members, providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, production, R&D and logistics teams to ensure seamless customer service.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the B2B beverage industry, preferably focusing on ingredients and raw materials for the food and beverage markets.
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in a competitive environment.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies for new market expansion.
- Strong understanding of the Asian beverage market.
- An extensive network of contacts within the beverage industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Fluency in English and Thai, with additional language skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel extensively, mainly, but not only, in Asia
Desired Skills:
- Experience working with a Thai-based multinational company.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for importing and exporting beverage ingredients.
- Understanding of cultural nuances in conducting business across diverse markets.
