Regional Sales Director

 Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy
  • Recruit, lead, and manage a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of achievement and exceeding sales targets.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the food and beverage industry across the region.
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at major beverage companies in ASEAN.
  • Negotiate and close high-value contracts with new and existing clients manufacturers and distributors.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify market trends, customer needs and competitors' activity
  • Develop and implement effective pricing strategies to optimize revenue growth.
  • Manage and oversee sales forecasting and budgeting processes
  • Manage and mentor sales team members, providing ongoing coaching and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, production, R&D and logistics teams to ensure seamless customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in sales leadership within the B2B beverage industry, preferably focusing on ingredients and raw materials for the food and beverage markets.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving revenue growth in a competitive environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing successful sales strategies for new market expansion.
  • Strong understanding of the Asian beverage market.
  • An extensive network of contacts within the beverage industry.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Fluency in English and Thai, with additional language skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively, mainly, but not only, in Asia

Desired Skills:

  • Experience working with a Thai-based multinational company.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for importing and exporting beverage ingredients.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances in conducting business across diverse markets.
