Procurement Officer (Footwear Manufacturing)

Job Description:

• Plan and manage raw and packaging material supply to meet production needs.
• Optimize inventory levels to ensure material availability and support production schedules.
• Generate purchase orders in the MRP system and coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery.
• Forecast material requirements and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Address credit claims related to quality or delivery issues to minimize business impact.
• Handle cash payments for special supplier arrangements, maintaining proper documentation.
• Evaluate and report supplier performance to ensure collaboration with top-performing vendors.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the manager.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of overseas purchasing experience.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize urgent tasks effectively.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Team player with a collaborative approach to workload sharing.
• Independent thinker with the ability to optimize processes for greater efficiency.
