About the job Sales Engineer (Machine Tools)
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for sales activities, including data analysis and application guidance to persuade customers.
- Deliver presentations highlighting product advantages over competitors.
- Assist the sales team in engaging customers at the showroom.
- Conduct sample measurements for customers.
- Plan, organize, and conduct product training sessions and seminars for dealers and customers.
- Provide software training and after-sales software support for customers.
- Train internal staff (sales and service teams) on new products, updated features, and other relevant topics.
- Prepare documentation, including technical certificates, operation manuals, and translations, for both customers and internal staff.
- Coach subordinates on product knowledge, application functionality, presentation techniques, and effective communication skills.
- Develop and manage work schedules for subordinates and the team.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Sales Engineer Manager.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Engineer, specializing in Technical or Application roles related to CMM, Roughness, or Contour.
- Possession of a valid driver's license and willingness to travel within Thailand.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a service-oriented mindset, positive attitude, and proactive thinking.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
