Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Factory Manager to lead our beverage ingredients manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of aseptic and pasteurization processes, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in delivering high-quality products.

Responsibilities:

  • Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee all aspects of production, including planning, scheduling, and execution.
    • Ensure adherence to strict quality standards, including GMP, HACCP, and FSSC 22000.
    • Monitor and optimize production processes to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.
    • Implement and maintain a robust quality control system, including regular inspections and testing.
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Aseptic and Pasteurization Expertise:
    • Possess in-depth knowledge of aseptic and pasteurization technologies and their application in beverage ingredient manufacturing.
    • Ensure the effective operation and maintenance of aseptic and pasteurization equipment.
    • Monitor and control critical process parameters to maintain product sterility and safety.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to aseptic and pasteurization processes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a diverse team of production, quality control, and maintenance personnel.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Implement effective performance management systems to drive accountability and results.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay informed of relevant food safety regulations and industry standards.
    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including labeling, packaging, and traceability.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and address potential compliance gaps.
  • Cost Control:
    • Develop and implement cost-effective strategies to optimize resource utilization.
    • Monitor and control production costs, including raw materials, labor, and utilities.
    • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Safety and Environmental Compliance:
    • Prioritize workplace safety and implement robust safety programs.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
    • Promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in food manufacturing, with a focus on beverage ingredients.
  • Proven track record in managing aseptic and pasteurization processes.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Proficient in quality management systems and regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Additional Considerations:

  • Experience in a GMP-certified manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and statistical process control is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
