Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our beverage ingredient manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in maintaining complex manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
    • Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls.
    • Optimize maintenance resource allocation to ensure timely and effective execution of tasks.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
    • Oversee the maintenance and repair of all production equipment, including aseptic and pasteurization systems, filling machines, and packaging lines.
    • Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
    • Manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Spare Parts Management:
    • Manage inventory levels of spare parts and consumables to ensure timely availability.
    • Develop and implement a spare parts procurement strategy to optimize costs and minimize lead times.
  • Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:
    • Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
    • Implement energy-saving measures and monitor energy consumption.
    • Promote sustainable practices and minimize environmental impact.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
    • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
    • Implement performance management systems 1 to drive accountability and results.
  • Safety and Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
    • Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety procedures.
    • Promote a safe working environment and minimize accidents.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
  • Experience in maintaining aseptic and pasteurization systems is preferred.
  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in a GMP-certified manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
