Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and repair of our beverage ingredient manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in maintaining complex manufacturing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance Planning and Scheduling:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
- Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities, including inspections, repairs, and overhauls.
- Optimize maintenance resource allocation to ensure timely and effective execution of tasks.
- Equipment Maintenance and Repair:
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of all production equipment, including aseptic and pasteurization systems, filling machines, and packaging lines.
- Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
- Manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance and repairs.
- Spare Parts Management:
- Manage inventory levels of spare parts and consumables to ensure timely availability.
- Develop and implement a spare parts procurement strategy to optimize costs and minimize lead times.
- Energy Efficiency and Sustainability:
- Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs.
- Implement energy-saving measures and monitor energy consumption.
- Promote sustainable practices and minimize environmental impact.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and motivate a team of maintenance technicians and supervisors.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
- Provide training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Implement performance management systems 1 to drive accountability and results.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and implement safety procedures.
- Promote a safe working environment and minimize accidents.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food and beverage industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery.
- Experience in maintaining aseptic and pasteurization systems is preferred.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Experience in a GMP-certified manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is beneficial.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
