Job Summary:

The Financial Controller with HR responsibilities will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and effective human resource management of the company. This dual role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial principles and HR practices within a manufacturing and export environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with Thai accounting standards and regulations, and managing all HR functions to support the company's growth and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Financial Control & Accounting:

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis:
    • Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
    • Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insightful reports to management.
    • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial performance.
    • Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Oversee all accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and inventory management.
    • Ensure compliance with Thai accounting standards (TAS) and tax regulations.
    • Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
    • Manage product costing and analyze variances.
  • Financial Planning & Risk Management:
    • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.
    • Manage cash flow and working capital.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
    • Manage export documentation and financial requirements.
    • Work with auditors and tax advisors.
  • Cost Control:
    • Implement and maintain cost accounting systems.
    • Analyze manufacturing costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial control and accounting, preferably in a manufacturing and export environment.
  • Experience in managing HR functions would be a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Thai accounting standards (TAS) and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with international environments.
  • Knowledge of Thai labor laws and regulations.
  • Experience in product costing.
  • Fluency in Thai and English (both written and spoken).
