Working hours: Monday-Friday (08:30-17:30 hrs.)
Responsibilities:
1. Business Strategy & Growth Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business plan for the Hand Tools division, encompassing distribution strategy, growth objectives, and market expansion initiatives.
- Identify, target, and onboard new distribution partners to expand market reach and penetration.
- Establish ambitious sales budgets and monitor performance against targets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee and optimize inventory management, demand planning, and sales forecasting processes to ensure product availability and minimize costs.
- Lead the development and implementation of effective promotional plans to drive sales and market share.
2. New Product Commercialization:
- Drive the end-to-end commercialization process for new hand tool products, from concept validation to successful market launch.
- Develop compelling new product strategies, including market sizing, competitive analysis, pricing architecture, and go-to-market plans.
- Prepare comprehensive product messaging, develop merchandising assets, and ensure the creation of high-impact marketing materials.
- Design and deliver comprehensive sales training programs to equip sales teams with in-depth product knowledge and selling techniques.
- Ensure robust after-launch support mechanisms are in place for all new products.
3. Market & Competitive Intelligence:
- Conduct rigorous field market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends, unmet customer needs, and new product opportunities within the professional trade user segment and relevant applications.
- Analyze competitor strategies, product portfolios, and pricing to inform our competitive positioning and differentiation.
- Identify and evaluate potential distribution partner opportunities based on market research and strategic fit.
4. Commercial Strategy Development & Execution:
- Develop and implement a holistic commercial strategy for the Hand Tool business, integrating insights from market research, product development, and sales.
- Define optimal price positioning for all hand tool products to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of all commercial initiatives.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
- Foster and ensure strong, proactive collaboration with key internal departments, including Brand Marketing, Sales, Joint Sales & Service (JSS), After-Sales Service, Supply Chain, and global marketing teams.
- Act as the primary liaison for the Hand Tools business, ensuring alignment and effective communication across all relevant functions.
6. Ad-Hoc Duties:
- Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as necessary to support the strategic objectives of the Hand Tools business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree or higher
in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or any related field
- At least 8 years of experience in Business
Development, Product Management of the Hand Tool Industry.
- Deep market knowledge of the
hand tools sector and the Thailand distribution landscape.
- Good command of English, both
written and spoken.
- Strong leadership,
presentation, negotiation, problem-solving, and relationship-building
skills.
