Customs Affairs Specialist, Import Operations

Industry: E-commerce Industry
Location: Din Daeng, Bangkok (Near MRT)
Working hours: Monday - Friday (9:00-18:00)

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Import Management: Oversee the entire import lifecycle, including customs declarations and clearance procedures specifically for industrial products and indirect materials.
- Operational Optimization: Drive initiatives to improve customs clearance efficiency and enhance overall logistics lead times.
- Government Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for Thai Customs. Stay ahead of regulatory changes, import quotas, and "gray area" policy nuances to safeguard company interests.
- Compliance & Certification: Manage and secure necessary import certifications and permits required by Thai law for specialized industrial goods.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or related fields.
- At least 5 years of import and export logistics management.
- Familiar with the local import policy in Thailand, understand the import compliance requirements of industrial products and indirect materials.
- Fluent in Thai and English, international background or government resources is preferred
- Strong market sensitivity and customer service experience, good at communicating with customs and colleagues.
