Inventory Management Officer
About the job Inventory Management Officer
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain accurate records of all assets and spare parts using the Inventory Management System.
- Supervise the receiving, inspection, and dispatching of IT equipment and critical facility components.
- Coordinate with the Engineering team to ensure the availability of parts for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and annual physical stocktakes to ensure zero variance.
- Prepare and manage all logistics documentation, including Goods Receipts
- (GR), Delivery Orders, and monthly inventory reports.
- Liaise with vendors and freight forwarders to track shipments and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure storage environment in compliance with Data Center safety standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory or warehouse management (Experience in Data Center or IT hardware environments is highly preferred).
- Proficiency in Inventory Management Systems (WMS) or ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and high integrity.
- Good command of English (both written and spoken) for technical documentation and communication.
