Senior Financial Reporting & GL Specialist (Logistics)

Job Summary: 
       We are partnering with a leading international logistics provider to find a high-caliber accounting professional for a specialized, high-impact role. You will play a critical role in ensuring the financial integrity of the logistics operations. Reporting directly to the Group Account Manager, you will operate as a high-level individual contributor. This role is designed for a "hands-on" professional who enjoys drilling down into data, improving processes, and communicating with international stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Analysis: Prepare high-quality, meaningful analysis of financial statements to support management decision-making.
- GL & Reconciliation: Review complex account reconciliations; proactively coordinate with relevant departments to investigate and resolve discrepancies.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current workflows and implement solutions to drive efficiency in the month-end closing and reporting cycles.
- Audit & Compliance: Serve as a key point of contact and provide comprehensive support for SOX audits, group-level audits, and local statutory audits.
- Ad-hoc Projects: Perform specialized accounting duties and support the Group Account Manager on strategic assignments as required.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting. (A CPD or CPA license is a significant advantage)
- At least 5–10 years of experience in GL and Month-end closing. Previous experience within Logistics, Freight Forwarding, or Supply Chain is a significant advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for deep-dive data analysis, reporting, and a logical approach to ERP systems.
- Proficiency in English (comfortable participating in meetings and coordinating with international stakeholders).
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Result-driven with a strong sense of logic and analytical thinking.
