Customs & Trade Compliance Manager (E-commerce Industry)

Location: Din Daeng, Bangkok (Near MRT)
Working hours: Monday - Friday (9:00-18:00)

Key Responsibilities:
- Policy Analysis & Implementation: Continually monitor and analyze Thailand's customs and trade policy shifts; translate these changes into actionable internal SOPs to ensure 100% compliance.
- AEO Certification Leadership: Lead the end-to-end AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) application process, including internal self-inspections, documentation preparation, and liaison with local Customs authorities.
- Strategic Clearance Solutions: Develop and optimize trade methods and customs clearance strategies tailored to various product lines and business scenarios.
- Risk Management: Conduct regular internal audits of trade documents and processes to identify and mitigate potential risks or discrepancies.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the trade compliance team, providing technical guidance on complex valuation, classification, and origin issues.
- Stakeholder Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for third-party customs brokers, freight forwarders, and government agencies.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, International Business, Logistics, or related fields.
- At least 5-10 years of experience with various trade methods and customs clearance solutions from trading companies or third-party customs brokerage firms.
- Possess the ability to analyze Thailand's customs trade and clearance policies, and promptly provide guidance for the internal implementation of such policies within the company.
- Have a good command of the AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) application process at local country Customs, and be capable of leading the team and the company to complete the self-inspection and application for AEO certification.
- Possession of a customs brokerage certification is desirable (in preparation for AEO certification).
- Proficient in English, both writing and speaking. Chinese is a plus.
