Event Executive

 Job Description:

  • Develop and implement event strategies and plans that align with the clients goals and objectives.
  • Work with the Event Manager and other team members to create a detailed project plan, including timelines, budgets, and event logistics.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are being met, and provide regular updates and progress reports.
  • Manage and execute events, including coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing event staff, and ensuring all aspects of the event are properly managed and executed.
  • Manage event budgets, ensuring expenses are within the clients budget and are properly tracked throughout the event planning process.
  • Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure the best value for the clients budget.
  • Oversee the set-up, execution, and tear-down of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Manage event staff, and ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to manage their assigned roles.
  • Ensure all events are properly managed and executed, and meet or exceed the client expectations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in event planning and execution, with a proven track record of successful events.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and event staff.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage event budgets.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
