Event Executive
Job Description:
- Develop and implement event strategies and plans that align with the clients goals and objectives.
- Work with the Event Manager and other team members to create a detailed project plan, including timelines, budgets, and event logistics.
- Communicate regularly with clients to ensure their needs and expectations are being met, and provide regular updates and progress reports.
- Manage and execute events, including coordinating with vendors and contractors, managing event staff, and ensuring all aspects of the event are properly managed and executed.
- Manage event budgets, ensuring expenses are within the clients budget and are properly tracked throughout the event planning process.
- Negotiate with vendors and contractors to ensure the best value for the clients budget.
- Oversee the set-up, execution, and tear-down of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Manage event staff, and ensuring they are properly trained and equipped to manage their assigned roles.
- Ensure all events are properly managed and executed, and meet or exceed the client expectations.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in event management, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in event planning and execution, with a proven track record of successful events.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, vendors, and event staff.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage event budgets.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software.
