Job Description:
Responsibilities:
SEA Office Management
- Lead and drive the growth and strategic development of company's regional offices, based on company's Integrated logistics business, business needs and market trends
- Initiate and lead projects regarding regional development and change management
- Communicate and ensure understanding of the strategic plans including objectives
- Manage relationships with all stakeholders, including regional business partners, customers, suppliers and agents
Business Planning and Development
- Create and build a profitable and customer-focused regional office with a strong management team fully capable of providing good leadership
- Build and expand current local and regional client portfolio
- Explore and build new client portfolio, locally and regionally
- Initiate and develop business opportunities within new or existing markets
- Identify potential locations for market opportunities that produce continued growth.
- Evaluate new office set up and develop strategies to penetrate in the country
- Ensure regional offices' align to corporate strategies in terms of focus on verticals, branding and marketing materials compliance, media strategies
- Identify specific local needs and ensure adaptation of regional standards to local needs
Performance Management
- Drive and ensure global offices achieve their Key Performance Indicators (KPI) on revenue, service quality and profit
- Ensure the implementation of detailed business improvement plans to meet or exceed country profit targets
- Conduct regular performance reviews of global offices and ensure appropriate corrective actions
- Manage an effective and balanced portfolio of business and markets to achieve business growth
People and Relationship Management
- Support and implement programmes and activities for efficient people management, with the global HR policies
- Lead and develop the global teams to ensure the required people and organizational capability is in place
- Ensure there is a culture of employee feedback and engagement
- Develop and build a culture of continual personal development
Compliance and Internal Policies
- Ensure global offices' compliance with company's policies
- Ensure operations are conducted in accordance with all legal requirements and external regulations
- Collaborate with company's legal team to minimize legal exposure
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma in logistics field or similar
- Minimum 10 years of commercial and operational experience in Logistics, with 6 years of experience in a regional role
- Possess a strong mix of operational logistics and regional experience, coupled with a proven track record in driving large scale, regional, continuous improvement/operational excellence projects
- Worked within a matrix organization
- Frequent overseas travelling is required
