Service Manager

Our client, a process technology and equipment solutions provider, is looking for a service manager to strengthen its team. The individual will report to the Headquarter Service Head.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintaining strong customer relationship
  • Maximize customer satisfaction by working closely with customer representatives
  • Scheduling field service engineers in collaboration with the Head Office
  • Pre- and post-processing of service visits
  • Provide phone support to customer and FSE (Full service equivalent)
  • Ensure service technician hours and travel expenses are recorded and accountable
  • Identifying customer needs and provide solutions with sales and after-sales department
  • Work with headquarter to manage commercial order fulfilment
  • Organize domestic part logistics from headquarter/ warehouse in Asia to customers
  • Travel within Asia to visit customers and to Head Office in Germany for training and meetings
  • Assisting service technicians in working on site with customers in bottlenecks or critical situations
  • Weekend standby mode

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Degree in Mechatronics, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Electronics
  • A minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance, service organization and planning
  • Advanced knowledge of commercial order processing
  • A Positive attitude and the ability to work independently and a good team-player
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Flexibility adapts quickly to new situations and creativity able to think outside the box
  • Must have a Class 3 drivers License
  • Work experience in a German company is a plus
