Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of fit-out and AEI works within an operational manufacturing facility
  • Plan, coordinate, and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources
  • Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing plant operations during project execution
  • Review design, method statements, and technical submissions from contractors
  • Proactively identify and pursue refurbishment, upgrading, and improvement opportunities across the site, including developing technical and commercial proposals to generate additional project works and revenue

Stakeholder & Client Management

  • Act as the primary interface with the client, providing regular updates and managing expectations
  • Liaise with various client functions (e.g., operations, production, EHS, QA/QC, facilities) to align project requirements
  • Coordinate closely with the IFM team to ensure integration with existing systems and site constraints
  • Lead meetings, progress reviews, and reporting to senior stakeholders

Safety & Compliance (Critical Focus)

  • Champion a strong safety culture across all project activities
  • Ensure all works comply with site EHS standards, permit-to-work systems, and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and safety reviews
  • Enforce strict adherence to safe work procedures, especially in high-risk environments (live plant, confined spaces, lifting operations, etc.)
  • Stop unsafe work where necessary and drive corrective actions

Contractor & Site Management

  • Manage contractors, vendors, and subcontractors on-site
  • Review and approve method statements, risk assessments (RA), and safe work procedures (SWP)
  • Monitor site progress, workmanship, and quality of installation
  • Resolve site issues, clashes, and technical challenges promptly

Coordination & Integration

  • Ensure coordination between M&E systems, architectural works, and process requirements
  • Work closely with IFM to align with existing utilities, maintenance practices, and shutdown windows
  • Support planning and execution of shutdown / tie-in works where required

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, reports, and trackers
  • Provide clear and structured progress reporting to client and internal stakeholders
  • Track risks, issues, and mitigation plans

Requirements

Experience & Skills

  • Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Building Services Engineering or related field
  • Proven experience in project management within manufacturing, industrial, or mission-critical environments
  • Strong background in fit-out, AEI works, or brownfield projects
  • Familiarity with live plant operations and constraints

Technical & Professional Competencies

  • Strong understanding of M&E systems (HVAC, electrical, utilities, etc.)
  • Experience working with IFM teams or facilities management environments
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously

  • Familiar with permit-to-work systems, risk assessments, and EHS compliance
  • Willing to enforce safety standards firmly, even under pressure
