About the job Mobile Game VFX Artist - (up to $5,000 | Chibi)
Responsibilities:
- Design and produce stunning VFX assets to enhance gameplay, including environmental effects, combat visualizations, and special abilities.
- Collaborate with game designers and developers to seamlessly integrate VFX into the game, ensuring cohesive visuals and optimal performance.
- Create particle effects, shaders, and real-time simulations to bring vibrant and immersive effects to life.
- Maintain consistency in style and quality across VFX assets for live-ops, marketing, and in-game requirements.
- Continuously refine and iterate on VFX assets based on feedback from the team and playtesting.
- Research and implement cutting-edge techniques and tools to push the boundaries of VFX in mobile gaming.
Requirements:
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Fine Arts, Digital Art, or a related field with focus on VFX.
- Experience: Proven track record of creating visually compelling VFX using tools like Unitys Particle System, Unreal Engines Niagara, or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong understanding of particle effects, shaders, and performance optimization for mobile games.
- Portfolio: Must showcase relevant VFX work; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
