Job Title: Network Administrator – HPC Managed Services

Location: Singapore

Working Hours: 08:30 – 18:00, Monday to Friday (excluding Public Holidays)

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and skilled Network Administrator to join our High-Performance Computing (HPC) Managed Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the high-performance network fabric that supports HPC operations, ensuring reliability, performance, and security across data centre environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain tenant HPC fabric and data centre switching infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and performance tuning.
  • Perform network configuration backup, capacity/utilization reporting, and ensure operational compliance with standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, including Layer 2/3 connectivity problems, routing, and switching faults.
  • Support and administer Software-Defined Networking (SDN), firewalls, and VPN solutions.
  • Collaborate with system, storage, and security teams to ensure seamless data flow and optimal HPC cluster performance.
  • Participate in the 24×7 on-call rotation for P1/P2 incident escalation and resolution support.

Maintain detailed network documentation, operational runbooks, and change management records in alignment with ITIL practices.

Requirements

  • At least two (2) years of relevant experience in network support, monitoring, and troubleshooting in enterprise or HPC environments.
  • Hands-on experience with data centre switching, SDN technologies, firewalls, and VPN administration.
  • Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and network security concepts.
  • Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, or equivalent).
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities; able to respond effectively under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Minimum Certification Requirements

  • ITIL Foundation (or equivalent or higher).
  • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent or higher certification.
