Key Responsibilities:

• Supplier Management: Assist in identifying and developing relationships with key suppliers, particularly in Mandarin-speaking regions. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
• Negotiation: Conduct negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and payment terms.
• Sourcing: Support the sourcing of automotive parts and materials from both local and international suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Order Management: Oversee the processing of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of materials to meet production schedules.
• Inventory Control: Monitor inventory levels to avoid overstocking or stockouts, coordinating with the production and inventory teams to maintain optimal levels.
• Cost Analysis: Perform cost analysis and market research to identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
• Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant laws and regulations.
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost savings for management review.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including production, quality assurance, and logistics, to ensure smooth operations and resolve any procurement-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the automotive manufacturing industry.
• Experience in managing suppliers from Mandarin-speaking regions is highly desirable. (export/import)
• Fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required.
• Proficiency in English is essential.
