Area Manager
Job Description:
Our client is a retail store company designed to help public get their daily necessities in a convenient price range while also adopting suburb choices for customers to seek.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise on-site activities related to store setup, ensuring adherence to project plans, guidelines, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, contractors, and vendors to facilitate the smooth execution of the store establishment process.
- Plan and organize tasks for store setup, allocate resources effectively, and monitor progress to meet key milestones.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify and resolve any issues that could impact the store's opening timeline or overall quality.
- Manage and guide a team of setup personnel, offering direction, training, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and organized project records, including daily progress reports, updates, and any necessary adjustments.
- Anticipate potential challenges and implement strategies to mitigate risks, avoiding potential delays or budget overruns.
- Cultivate an environment of safety, quality, and attention to detail during the setup process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven track record in Site Management or comparable roles, ideally in retail setup projects.
- Solid understanding of retail establishment processes, techniques, and best practices.
- Strong leadership abilities and exceptional communication skills, with a talent for effective collaboration.
- Familiarity with retail layout design and visual merchandising is advantageous.
- Proficiency in project management tools and software.
- Relevant certifications in project management or retail operations are a plus
