A career in Corporate Finance practice, within Deals Services in our client, will provide you the opportunity to deliver innovative deal solutions and originate ideas and deals pipeline to clients, provide advice and support, from initiation through to deal completion. This role focuses on playing the role of lead financial advisers in sell-side and buy-side transactions. With responsibility to also initiate a new project from Origination Stage.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above
- Be involved in the financial management of clients
- Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
- Contribute to the development of your own and teams technical acumen
- Develop strategies to solve complex technical challenges
- Assist in the management and delivering of large projects
- Train, coach, and supervise staff
- Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
Preferred skills
- Relevant experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial and management consulting, private equity, venture capital, Corporate Banking or in-house M&A activities.
- Strong financial modelling, report writing, analytical and data-processing skills.
- Big Four accounting firm, Corporate/Investment Banking or Investment Company (Venture Capital or Private Equity) or equivalent background preferred.
