Our client is a leading company in the oil and gas industry, committed to delivering excellence in exploration and survey activities. We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team as a Legal & External Relations Specialist. As a Legal & External Relations Specialist in the oil and gas industry, your primary responsibility is to manage legal matters and external relationships critical to the organization's operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring compliance with industry regulations, fostering positive external relationships, and protecting the company's legal interests.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing legal matters and external relationships that are critical to our organization's operations. Responsibilities:

  1. SCM of 3D Seismic Survey (acquisition & processing, UKL & UPL): You will be responsible for overseeing the Supply Chain Management (SCM) aspects of our 3D Seismic Survey projects, which includes acquisition, processing, and the preparation of UKL & UPL documents.
  2. Exploration Drilling: Collaborate with the team in managing legal aspects related to exploration drilling activities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and contractual agreements.
  3. Handling General Office Supplies and Equipment: You will be in charge of managing the procurement and maintenance of general office supplies and equipment, ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.
  4. Tender Committee: Serve as a committee member in our Tender Committee, participating in the evaluation and selection of vendors and contractors.
  5. Reporting Structure: You will report directly to the HR & GA Supervisor, with a functional reporting line to the Finance & Business Manager.

Requirements:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should meet the following qualifications:

  • Certification of PTK 007 Rev. 5: Certification in PTK 007 Rev. 5 is highly considered, demonstrating your commitment to industry standards and regulations.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Law: Possess a Bachelor's degree in Law, equipping you with the foundational knowledge required for legal responsibilities in the oil and gas sector.
  • Minimum of 5 Years of Experience in the Oil & Gas Industry (KKKS): A proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly within the framework of KKKS, is essential.
  • Strong Skill in Drafting and Reviewing Contracts: Demonstrated proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, ensuring that all legal agreements are sound, compliant, and in the best interest of the company.
  • Committee Participation: Willingness and capability to participate actively as a committee member in the Tender Committee, contributing to vendor and contractor selection.
