Tax Administrator Hybrid WFH
Job Description:
Our client in Century City, Cape Town is seeking a dynamic Tax Administrator to join their team.
This is a Hybrid position - 2 days at home, 3 days in the office.
What your role entails:
The tax administrator in the emigration department will be responsible for managing client accounts, overseeing the tax migration process, and ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service as they transition to their new tax jurisdictions.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Account Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients undergoing the emigration process.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their specific needs and goals.
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
Daily email correspondence with clients.
Tax Migration Services:
Manage the end-to-end tax migration process for clients, including compliance, application, and reporting.
Applying the tax treaties and double tax agreements to determine the clients tax status.
Advise clients on the requirements of emigration.
Prepare and review related documents, ensuring compliance with SARS regulations and other relevant authorities.
Liaising with the fund houses to withdraw the clients retirement annuity products.
Deregistration of income tax numbers.
Tax Compliance:
Calculation and submission of income tax returns.
Capital Gains Tax calculations.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other members of the emigration team to develop and implement best practices.
Collaborate with external partners, to deliver comprehensive solutions to clients.
General admin:
Daily email turnaround time is 24 hours.
Daily update of Monday.com our task management tool where all client matters are discussed and tracked.
Daily clean-up of Monday.com notifications and inbox.
Qualification and Experience:
- Bcom Degree
- 5+ years experience in tax
Salary: R23 000 to R28 000.
Start date: 1 April or 1 Mei.
