Junior Payroll Administrator

Our client is recruiting for a Junior Payroll Administrator to join their team in Blackheath, Cape Town.

Knowledge & Requirements:

  • Passed Grade 12 
  • Minimum of 2 years sound knowledge of VIP Payroll systems
  • Retail payroll experience of 2 years
  • Solid knowledge of payroll principles, processes and procedures
  • Processed 1000 or more employees on a monthly basis
  • Solid understanding of relevant legislation (Tax, BCEA, Employee Benefits)
  • Excel intermediate user.
  • Excellent administration skills and good communication skills
  • Good time management and organisational skills
  • Detail-oriented, Proactive, Pressure resilient, Independent but needs to be a Team player
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with time and attendance and multiple pay frequencies
  • Previous experience in payroll administration within the maritime industry, preferably in the fishing sector.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a dynamic and fast-paced environment

Salary: R15,000
