Key Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Monitor financial performance and recommend corrective actions where necessary.
  • Ensure accurate accounting records and compliance with accounting standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and periodic financial forecasts.
  • Monitor departmental budgets and analyze variances.
  • Provide financial analysis to support business decisions.

Cost Control & Profitability

  • Monitor manufacturing and operational costs.
  • Analyze product profitability and recommend cost optimization initiatives.
  • Implement internal financial controls to improve efficiency.

Cash Flow & Treasury

  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital.
  • Monitor receivables, payables, and liquidity.
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors and compliance with financial obligations.

Compliance & Taxation

  • Ensure compliance with local tax laws, VAT, and statutory regulations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and statutory reports.

Inventory & Supply Chain Finance

  • Monitor inventory valuation and inventory control processes.
  • Support procurement and supply chain teams with financial analysis.
  • Review inventory provisions, stock movements, and cost of goods sold.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
  • Establish performance goals and ensure continuous professional development.

Business Support

  • Provide financial insights to senior management for strategic planning.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and business expansion projects.
  • Prepare financial models and feasibility studies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Commerce.
  • Professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA is preferred.
  • MBA in Finance is an advantage.

Experience

  • 7–10 years of finance and accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or FMCG industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS, budgeting, financial reporting, taxation, and cost accounting.
