Job Summary: The interior designer is responsible for creating visually appealing and functional interior spaces by selecting and arranging furnishings, colors, lighting, and decor. They work with clients to understand their needs and preferences, develop design concepts, and oversee the implementation of the design.

Responsibilities:

• Client Consultation: Meet with clients to determine their goals, needs, and style preferences for the interior space.
• Design Concept Development: Create design concepts, mood boards, and layouts to present to clients for approval.
• Space Planning: Evaluate and plan the efficient use of available space, considering traffic flow and functionality.
• Color and Material Selection: Choose appropriate colors, materials, and finishes for walls, floors, and furnishings.
• Furniture and Accessories: Select and source furniture, fixtures, and decorative items to complement the design.
• Lighting Design: Create a lighting plan to enhance the atmosphere and functionality of the space.
• Budget Management: Estimate project costs and work within the allocated budget, sourcing materials and products accordingly.
• Project Coordination: Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure the design is implemented accurately.
• Site Visits: Visit project sites to oversee progress and address any issues that arise during construction or renovation.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and documents for contractors and vendors.

• Trends and Research: Stay up-to-date with design trends and innovative materials.
