Sr. Engineer/Technical Support/System Administrator
Job Description:
Experience in Windows 2008/2012 Active Directory administration.
Technical Ability to (required for assigned Server Administrators):
Install, configure & upgrade the server hardware & its components
Evaluate the existing setup of Servers hardware configuration, Network card & network traffic, Servers, Server Security, Upgrading Servers and Installing Support pack & patches etc.
Integration of servers with other equipment like storage & backup
Routine Maintenance procedures & Helpdesk Integration.
Servers Backup & restore procedures.
Third-party system installation & integration.
Experience in Microsoft operating systems Windows 2008/2012 Server administration
Advanced computer hardware skills with configuration and troubleshooting
Basic knowledge in networking.
Good knowledge in Patch management
Microsoft Certified (MCSE).
Must be able to repair PC/Notebook/Server hardware at the component level.
Proficient in most desktop software products.
Good Knowledge/skills in IP Telephone.
Proficient in all PC/Notebook/Server and peripheral hardware including the functioning of microprocessors, Memory and other IC chips, general circuits, etc.
Proficient in all desktop software products.
Capable of analyzing and diagnosing hardware & software problems expeditiously.
Should be dynamic and update his knowledge of hardware, software & network continuously through further reading and Contractor organized courses.
Skills
University Degree in Computer/Electronics Engineering or related area
At least five years experience in relevant field
Certification in the field (servers/infrastructure)
Fluent in English and preferably have knowledge of Arabic as well.
Good interpersonal skills and an amicable disposition.
Must possess valid Kuwaiti driving license.
