Warehouses Manager
Job Description:
Key Purpose : The Warehouse Supervisor maintains high levels of accuracy in day-to-day operations, leads and develops the warehouse team, and provides customer service to clients beyond expectation. Must have the knowledge and expertise in organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage & distribution of warehouse goods. Must be able to lead and motivate all levels in performance of the jobs in accordance with the standard operating procedures of the company and identify the warehouse process that needs improvement.
Job Functions : a) The warehouse supervisor monitors the stock of raw materials and finished products daily to ensure the required quantity/stock needed at present and at least for 3 months ahead.
b) Plan daily dispatch of finished products from the factory to the main warehouse as per the availability of the stocks.
c) Plan the work hours and workforce that will be needed for daily warehouse activities.
d) Monitor and report all vehicles with breakdowns to fix as soon as possible to avoid delays in transporting goods from the factory to the main warehouse as well as the loading to sales vehicles for customers.
e) Maintain the proper arrangement of stocks as well as the cleanliness of the surroundings.
f) Prepare daily production reports, daily sales reports, and updated stocks in the warehouse.
g) Monitor all the equipment, tools, and cleaning materials needed for daily activities.
h) Monitor and maintain inventory as daily or weekly as possible to maintain the correct physical stock and avoid discrepancies.
i) Follow damaged product and should return to the factory for repacking.
j) Follow the rejection report from the quality control and production department and coordinate with the purchasing manager for further instruction.
k) Monitor the waste materials from the factory to dispatch out of the factory and warehouse vicinity.
l) l. Reconcile physical inventory against the monthly report and system report.
Requirements/ Qualifications : Education/Certifications/Experience
College-level- undergraduate
More than 7 years of experience in the same field.
Should have Kuwait's driving license
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Planning and organizing skills.
Ability to lead people, motivate and delegate work and explain ideas.
Knowledge of Arabic, English any foreign language.
Computer Skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Internet, etc.).
Willingness to work additional hours in order to meet tight deadlines.
Knowledge of material handling equipment.
