IT Support Engineer
Job Description:
Engineering degree in computer science or equivalent
Bilingual
Willing to join immediately
IT support experience
Between 2-4 years of experience
The employee shall be responsible for the following:
Monitor / Maintain / Install / Update PCs, servers, switches, antivirus, etc.
Work with employees to identify computer problems and advise on the solution.
Monitoring network performance to determine if adjustments need to be made.
Create/Maintain back up policies, confirm restoring data and perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required.
Handle all IT matters related to branches (PCs, network, connectivity, maintenance, installation, configuration, etc.)
Submit a weekly/monthly report to line manager that entails hardware inventory, assets update, switches backup, Cisco telephones, etc.)
Participate in IT Audit and adhere to Audit standards.
Communicate with vendors, request for proposal and seek their support in hardware related matters (installation, setup, maintenance, purchasing, etc.)
Track, Diagnose, Troubleshoot hardware, software and other network and system problems including account setup and network configuration within agrees time limits.
Install/Configure/Test/Replace/Maintain/Administer/Monitor computer networks and related computing environments including computer systems and applications, computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
Assist management in creating training materials pertaining to computer troubleshooting and usage.
Assist in department trainings/meetings & audio / video conferences.
Assist the line manager as and when needed
Participate effectively in the IT activities and projects
