Role and Responsibilities:

• Ensuring robust compliance to health and safety laws and company's policies and procedures.
• Ensuring activities on site are completed without incident, harm to personnel, or damage to property or the environment.
• Ensuring that all hazards and risks associated with work activities are identified, assessed and actions implemented to eliminate or reduce those risks.
• Investigating and recording workplace/site accidents and work-related illnesses, writing up reports as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree and 5 years' experience as safety officer and 2 years' related experience
• Training and Certifications as per KOC HSSE Procedure requirements
• Valid driver's license and eligibility for KOC Gate Pass preferred Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking in English
• Good communication skills and a strong personality.
• Ability to act as an effective team member
