Soft Service Supervisor

 Job Description:

Key Job Responsibilities
-To ensure the Cleaning Service provides the highest standards of delivery demonstrating excellent service at all times.
-To ensure specialist sub- contractors are compliant with Serco`s Code of Conduct, and are providing efficient service and value for money.
-To ensure that all areas within sphere of control are adequately staffed and that staff are proactively supervised in the undertaking of their duties.
-To ensure that all staff have access to the appropriate resources and equipment to carry out their role.
-To ensure that all staff completes their tasks to the standards determined in work schedules and to escalate any on-going issues to the Soft Services Manager as necessary.
-To monitor and record sickness and absence for Team Leaders, undertaking return to work interviews with staff following periods of sickness or absence.
-To carry out counselling sessions as and when required to the appropriate staff groups.
-To carry out cleaning standard self and joint audits with client representatives, to an agreed timetable and take appropriate action where a shortfall in standards is identified.
-To carry out job training and or assessment of staff where this is appropriate and necessary to support the trainer.

Requirements:
Knowledge
Recognized supervisory training or equivalent
Requires knowledge of Cleaning Methods & working practices, and Health & Safety requirements
Knowledge of Bics, training and work standards
Familiar with cleaning machines
Knowledge of auditing systems, CAFM system, and PDA`s an advantage
Computer literate an advantage.

Experience

Minimum 2 year experience in similar role
