Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet customers and offer assistance with product selection.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide product knowledge.
- Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience.
- Sales:
- Achieve or exceed sales goals by understanding customer needs and offering solutions.
- Promote current sales, promotions, and loyalty programs to customers.
- Assist in the visual merchandising and display of products to enhance sales.
- Product Knowledge:
- Stay up-to-date with product features, benefits, and availability.
- Offer recommendations and alternatives based on customer needs.
- Inventory Management:
- Assist in stocking and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock shortages to the management team.
- Participate in inventory counts and maintain accurate records.
- Cash Handling:
- Process customer transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments and issue receipts.
- Balance the cash register at the beginning and end of the shift.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work effectively with team members to ensure a smooth operation.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
- Store Maintenance:
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, fitting rooms, and back stock area.
- Follow store policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
