Accountant:
Job Description:
- Preferred nationality: Asian
- Salary: Between 350 K.D. to 450 K.D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and reconciliation.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with accounting principles.
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, providing analysis and insights to support decision-making.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations. Assist in tax planning and optimization.
- Auditing: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and information, and assist in implementing audit recommendations.
- Bank Reconciliation: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy of cash balances and identify any discrepancies.
- Expense Management: Monitor and manage company expenses, ensuring they are within budget and properly documented.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement. Provide recommendations based on financial insights.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all financial practices comply with relevant laws and regulations, including GAAP or IFRS standards.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes and improve efficiency within the finance department.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to provide financial support and guidance on various projects and initiatives.
