Job Title: Warranty Administrator

Reports To: General after Sales Manager

Location: Head Office, Kuwait

Job Summary

The Job Purpose of a Warranty Administrator is to ensure full compliance with all manufacturer warranty systems and minimize the risk of warranty audit failure.

Key Responsibilities

  • To ensure that all warranty claims submitted comply with manufacturers published manuals/repair time schedules and all invoices on the warranty debtor accounts are legitimate claims.
  • To use all resource necessary to prepare accurate invoices for warranty work carried out, including manufacturer systems and Auto line.
  • To comply with manufacturer warranty submission times without exception.
  • Monitor claim progress through accessing manufacturer systems at least on a weekly basis
  • To ensure claims refused or rejected by the manufacturer are properly investigated and contested (where necessary) within the manufacturer specific timescales.
  • To carry out dealership warranty audits in line with the agreed timetable. Prompt action must be taken to resolve issues identified before manufacturer audits take place.
  • To control parts returns for Warranty claims and the disposal of old parts not required to be returned to the manufacturer
  • Maintain good working relationship with manufacturer warranty dept.
  • Regularly check manufacturer warranty bulletins for any new developments and promote best practice across the division.
  • Use a clear and concise filing method, ensuring all retail and warranty job cards can be recovered at any given time.
  • Participates in project work where applicable

Ideal Requirements

Education

  • University graduate.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years in similar position or related to business.
  • Relevant Experience: 0-2 years of experience in automotive industry.

Competency & Skills

  • Ability to communicate in English and Arabic language.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office application (Outlook Microsoft Word Excel PowerPoint Internet)
  • Planning and organizational skills.
