Spare Parts Manager- Automotive
Job Description:
- Assist the General Manager in managing Auto Spare Parts Division operations and business objectives.
- Monitor sales, purchasing, warehouse, inventory, and customer service activities.
- Support achievement of sales, gross profit, and KPI targets.
- Develop relationships with key customers, garages, workshops, fleets, and dealers.
- Monitor product availability, stock levels, pricing, margins, and inventory aging.
- Coordinate with suppliers and purchasing teams for timely procurement and competitive pricing.
- Ensure effective warehouse and inventory control and minimize stock discrepancies.
- Support team management, performance monitoring, coaching, and development.
- Handle key customer complaints and service escalations.
- Prepare management reports, budgets, forecasts, and business analysis.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and increase profitability.
- Coordinate with Finance, HR, IT, Logistics, Marketing, and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and controls.
Skills
Qualification & Experience- Bachelor's degree in Business, Automotive, Supply Chain, Sales, Operations, or related field.
- 7–10 years' experience in automotive spare parts, preferably at managerial/supervisory level.
- Strong experience in spare parts sales, inventory, purchasing, warehouse operations, and business development.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, applications, and aftermarket market.
- India/GCC automotive aftermarket experience is an advantage.
- Age: 32–40 years | Nationality: Indian.
- Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent knowledge of automotive spare parts and aftermarket business.
- Strong sales, business development, and customer relationship skills.
- Experience in inventory, warehouse management, purchasing, and supplier negotiation.
- Strong commercial, financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in MS Office/Excel and ERP systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong ability to analyze KPIs and management reports.
