Senior Client Relationship Officer

 Job Description:

Senior Officer – Client Relations is responsible for managing and enhancing client relationships for an Investment Company by serving as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective clients. 

The role focuses on ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention through professional handling of client interactions, meetings, and inquiries, while supporting the promotion and cross-selling of the Companys investment products and services. 

The position also supports Client Relationship Managers through effective client database management, prospecting activities, and coordination of client communications, contributing to business growth, service excellence, and the Company's long-term client engagement strategy.

  • Main Responsibilities: 

1. Visiting & contacting existing clients on a regular basis.
2. Manage customer arrivals to maximize relationship building opportunities and direct them to the appropriate distribution channels.
3. Proactively seek to identify customer needs and effective at cross-selling and follow up.
4. Take full ownership of customers' problems and ensure complete customer satisfaction of problem solving.
5. Manages day-to-day activities for maintaining and enhancing existing client relationships.
6. Be involved in other projects related to the client services platform.
7. Comply with Company policies and procedures to ensure security of Company's and customer's assets.
8. Interacting with the customers via fax, phone, the internet, email, or in person to address directly the customer issues.
9. Support the Sr. Manager and/or the Head of Client Relations in issues related to CRD.
10. Participation in project work where applicable.
11. Supervising the customer service representatives team and ensuring that all the customers receive immediate service.
12. Schedule, prepare and conduct meetings/briefings for clients
13. Diligently using, maintaining and updating customer information using CRD.
14. Providing accurate and timely reports including forecasts and activities to management and clients.
15. Participation in project work where applicable.

  • Education: Bachelor s degree, preferably in finance or business administration
  • Experience: 7 years of experience in a Client Servicing in financial services or Institutional asset management
  • Qualifications and Skills: 
    • Excellent customer-service orientation & Relationship building skills
    • Ability to prioritize and accomplish tasks in a hard-hitting environment.
    • Process development skills, ability to keep work flowing, minimizing problems or delays.
    • Have a solid understanding of investment management business.
    • Self-motivated, Team player with a positive attitude.
    • Works well in a fast-paced environment, while being able to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with internal business groups, clients, prospects, and other external parties.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
