Job Description:
Position Summary:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Customer Service Representative to join our clients team. This position plays a critical role in providing exceptional customer service, primarily focusing on researching dental plans and effectively communicating the necessary details to our clients. The representative will be expected to handle various types of requests, including fax and dentifi requests, and process plan requests through the Patient history and Chariot program. This position requires a high level of knowledge about company information, customer service, and the ability to manage job stress effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Research dental plans according to the department's specifications and effectively communicate these details to our clients.
- Answer incoming calls from clients and enter benefit request information into our system.
- Meet the department's production and quality assurance guidelines.
- Assist colleagues as needed, specifically with researching and communicating tasks.
- Stay up to date with the latest company information and strive to provide the best customer service.
- Manage job stress and maintain a positive demeanor with customers and co-workers, while remaining alert on duty.
- Handle fax requests using our fax request program.
- Address incoming requests for dental benefits and plan matching through our dentifi system.
- Process incoming dentifi insurance comparer and fax mapper requests.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management.
Qualifications:
- A bachelors degree from a four-year college or university; or a minimum of 3 years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals and to write simple correspondence.
- Proficiency in basic arithmetic operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Proficiency in using personal computers in a Windows environment, Excel, and Word.
