Job Title: Senior Corporate Administrator

Reporting to: Director of Corporate Services

Direct reports: None

Job Purpose

To undertake day to day administrative activity associated with a portfolio of Corporate structures inclusive of Jersey SPVs, Partnerships and ICC/PCC structures and being the principal day to day client contact and driving a client focused, compliant and commercial approach.

Key Result Areas

  • The role holder will undertake day to day relationship management of a primarily complex client casebook ensuring that client expectations are understood and met and that service levels are consistently high across the area of responsibility;
  • Principal point of contact for clients and other stakeholders associated with personal client casebook supporting the Corporate Services Director with regard to wider relationship management;
  • The role holder, will work with limited day to day supervision with referral usually for discretion purposes;
  • The provision of technical support, guidance and effective coaching to less experienced members of the Corporate Services team and driving professional development and consistently high client service levels;
  • Delegate tasks on own portfolio to more junior members of staff, where appropriate;
  • Inputting and arranging payment instructions to be signed in accordance with authorised signatory list;
  • Understand the different requirements/process for payments for high-risk clients and sanctions;
  • Identify Trigger Events and complete the relevant checklists;
  • Analyse WIP for own clients, monitor and manage aged debts and circulate invoices to clients;
  • Liaising with intermediaries in respect of own clients (including banks/agents and the JFSC registry);
  • Organise and attend board meetings taking full responsibility for the quorum, board agendas, circulation of documentation and the preparation of the minute; and
  • Support theCorporate Services team to meet Key Performance and Risk indicators measuring personal and Corporate Services team performance, delegating responsibilities where appropriate and helping to manage employees by providing advice, guidance and motivation to help drive both individual and collective performance.

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

  • Understanding of current local finance industry legislation, regulatory requirements & working practices;
  • 4 years relevant industry administration experience with at least 3 years' experience in running own portfolio, preferably with exposure to Corporate clients;
  • Studying for or a willingness to study towards a professional qualification (table 4);
  • Manages conflicting and demanding deadlines;
  • Accepts responsibility; and
  • Ability to delegate and coach
